Job Summary:
Tabono Consult on behalf of our esteemed client, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering principles, regulatory compliance, and sustainable development. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing environmental projects, ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations, and leading sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental assessments, site investigations, and remediation planning.
- Develop and implement environmental management plans and sustainability strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations and standards.
- Design and evaluate environmental protection systems, including wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and waste management.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation measures to minimize environmental impacts.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, environmental impact assessments (EIA), and regulatory documentation.
- Work collaboratively with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams to achieve environmental goals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Conduct training programs and awareness campaigns on environmental best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and policies in environmental engineering.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and industry best practices.
- Experience in conducting environmental impact assessments and developing sustainability programs.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling software and GIS applications is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, LEED, or equivalent) is an advantage.
