JOB DETAILS:
Applicant Qualifications
• To be qualified and successful Form Four or Six with a Diploma in Environmental Health Diploma for three years from a Government recognized college and be registered with the Board of Environmental Health Professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Control and prevent disease outbreaks.
• Fighting and preventing pests and animals from spreading disease.
• Managing the burial of unidentified corpses and those caused by infectious diseases.
• Prepare various Environmental Health reports at the ward level and submit them to the relevant authorities.
• Collect and analyze Environmental Health data, in the county and provide feedback to take appropriate action.
• Provide environmental health education to the community.
• Inspect the environment in food processing areas to ensure the safety and health of the community.
• Supervise environmental health laws at the Ward level as well as assist the community in making by-laws.
• To sensitize the community in improving water resources and sanitation.
• To sensitize the community about the implementation of Primary Health Care Services at the Ward level.
• To perform such other duties as may be assigned to him or her by his or her supervisor for his or her education, experience and skills
