JOB DETAILS:
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Cook/Nutritionist to prepare healthy, childfriendly meals at our daycare center in Iringa Municipality.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare nutritious meals that meet children’s dietary needs.
• Cater to children with specific allergies or dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

Qualifications:
• Certificate in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Experience in preparing meals in a childcare or school setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards in Tanzania.

General Requirements:
• Preference will be given to residents of Iringa Municipality for all roles.
• Be ready and able to perform any other relevant duties, designated by superior
• Roles such as ICT Experts and Drone Operators should highlight familiarity with local cultural sensitivities.
• All staff must demonstrate a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment for children.
• All staff must be conversant (as per National Guidelines for Establishment and Management of Community-Based Day Care Centres) with: –

• Code of Conduct
• Basic Competencies of a Child Care Worker
• Safety and Security (including Child Protection and Safety Procedures, and Health Care and Hygiene)
