JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, screen applications, conduct interviews, and coordinate with management for final selection.
Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new employees receive comprehensive orientation and integration into the organization.
Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems, coordinate performance reviews and ensure consistent feedback and development plans and provide support and guidance to managers on performance-related issues.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues, investigate and resolve employee complaints and conflicts.
Disciplinary Actions: Implement and manage disciplinary procedures in accordance with organizational policies.
Policy Implementation: Ensure the implementation of HR and safeguarding policies across the organization, make recommendations for policies and procedures review as necessary
Compliance: Ensure organizational compliance to labour laws and regulations, and other relevant laws o Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. o Reporting: Prepare HR reports and metrics for management. o Support organizational initiatives and projects as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. A Master’s degree or professional HR certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the non-profit sector. o Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Commitment to professionalism and ethical standards o Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. o Capable of leading and managing change to improve organizational culture and efficiency o Attention to detail and ability to produce clear, concise and grammatically correct written materials o Proficiency in HR software will be an added advantage
