Mwananchi Communications Limited Invitation for Tender for the Year 2025

Mwananchi Communications Limited is looking for competent and eligible tenderers who can purchase the items listed below for the year 2025. Competent tenderers are invited to submit their proposals.

• MCL/T/01/01/2025: Newspaper Returns Disposal
• MCL/T/02/01/2025: Used Aluminum Plate Disposal

Tendering Information:

1. Tendering will be conducted through Competitive Bidding and is open to local tenderers only.
2. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the tendering documents at the office of the Secretary, Tender Committee, P.O. BOX 19754, Mandela Road Plot No. 34/35 Dar es Salaam, from 09:00 AM to 04:30 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
3. A complete set of tendering documents in English will be available for collection by the tenderers at a rate of Tshs 50,000 (Fifty thousand only), non-refundable. Payment should be made via a banker’s cheque or cash deposit payable to Mwananchi Communications Limited through CRDB Bank Account Number: 01J1005505400. Tender documents will be issued upon submission of proof of payment or receipt.
4. All tenders should consist of two documents: one original and one copy, properly sealed in a plain envelope. These must be dropped at MCL, Tabata Relini.
5. The deadline for submission is Monday, 24th January 2025, on or before 2:00 PM. All tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in the presence of the tenderer’s representatives who choose to attend the tender opening ceremony at the Company’s Board Room at Tabata Relini.
6. Late tenders, portions of tenders not received, tenders not opened, and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation, irrespective of the circumstances.
