Hesu Investments is a Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) licensed Inland Container Depot (ICD)& Container Freight Station (CFS) operator, providing world-class cargo handling, storage, and logistics solutions since 2012. Strategically positioned Just off Nelson Mandela Road, 5 km from the Port of Dar es Salaam, our 9-acre paved facility boasts a facility of 35,000 SQM that allows a storage capacity of 2,000 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) for our ICD Clients and 1,600 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUS) for our CFS Clients, stacked up to Four high.

Job Summary: 10 Vacancies
A Rider to Escort Container(s), will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation and delivery of container shipments. This role involves providing security and support for cargo movement, guiding trucks or other vehicles carrying containers from the origin point to the destination, and ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are followed throughout the journey.

Qualifications for A Rider to Escort Container(s)
1. Security Guard Certification:
• Must be a certified security guard with adequate training in security protocols and procedures.
• Knowledge of basic security principles, such as access control, surveillance, and incident reporting.

2. Riding Skills and Licensing:
• Must possess a valid motorcycle driving license.
• Demonstrated expertise in riding motorcycles safely in urban and off-road conditions.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

3. Communication Skills:
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via radio or mobile communication devices.
• Proficient in writing concise and accurate reports.

4. Situational Awareness:
• Ability to identify and respond to potential security threats or risks during transit.
• Skilled in observing surroundings and maintaining vigilance throughout the journey.

5. Problem-Solving Skills:
• Quick decision-making ability in emergencies, including breakdowns or security incidents.
• Ability to coordinate and report promptly to the control center for immediate assistance.

6. Physical Fitness:
• Good physical condition to handle the demands of long hours of riding and dealing with potential security challenges.

7. Professional Conduct:
• Polite, disciplined, and professional demeanor in interactions with clients, drivers, and authorities.
• Strong ethical behavior and integrity to ensure accountability and trustworthiness.

8. Experience:
• At least two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in security escort services.
• Familiarity with container handling operations and escort procedures is an added advantage.

9. Knowledge of Routes:
• Good knowledge of the routes from the Port to HESU, including alternate routes in case of diversions or emergencies.

10. Equipment Handling:
• Proficiency in handling radios, and other escort-related equipment.
