JOB DETAILS:
Voluntary Repatriation and IMO Officer, under the management and supervision of a Camp Management Team Leader and in close collaboration with the M&E department will lead the data collection and data base management for data and information gathered from DRC’s CCCM program in Nyarugusu camp and NMC transit center, also, he/she will be responsible for direct implementation of voluntary repatriation activities in the Nyarugusu camp.

Tasks and responsibilities of the position
• Supervise refugee incentive workers
• Monitor and support the coordination of services and Management in the camp like Wet feeding, hot meal for detainees at Police custody, managed departure center, and support voluntary repatriation activities.
• Identify gaps in service provision to refugees in the departure center and reception centers, proactively referring issues to relevant forums
• Oversee and ensure that wet feeding provided to PWS at reception center in an accessible and accountable manner
• Work in close collaboration with refugee stakeholders (Community Leaders, Elders, Representative Committees…) to ensure a wide acceptance of camp management activities in particular and facilitate dispute resolutions regarding the provision of humanitarian services in general
• Work in close collaboration with refugee stakeholders, and ensure community participation and mobilization in camp management
• Ensure diversity and inclusion and ensured that protection considerations are mainstreamed across all sectors
• Receive and handle complaints and feedback from beneficiaries at the reception centers and refer to relevant actors
• Ensure Camp management implementation is compliant with the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS) and the DRC Code of Conduct (CoC)
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly data collection regarding the activities implemented
• Need assessments for new or follow-up programming
• Baseline assessments
• Regular program monitoring
• Final evaluations
• Household surveys (sample comprehensive)
• Key informant interview
• Enter data provided into the appropriate software
• In collaboration with M&E department help creating new templates for data collection or improving existing one when needed
• Provide technical support in database design to the team
• Analyze data for trends and share with DRC CCCM program Team Leader, DRC M&E team leader and DRC grants
• Make recommendations based on research findings, in collaboration with program staff
• Help assessing whether programs are reaching their targets and inform appropriate program staff when targets are not being met
• Final evaluation and midterm evaluation report
• Write reports as required by Team Leader
• Ensure daily verbal feedback on urgent issues reported
• Participate in camp coordination meetings as well as meetings with refugee leadership committees
• Any other duties to support camp management activities assigned by Manager/Team Leader

Requirements
• At least 3-4 years of work experience in humanitarian displacement situation and CCCM& Volrep activities.
• Demonstrated previous experience working with refugees or other vulnerable populations
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility
• Flexibility in working hours when needed
• Excellent Communication skills
• Proven computer literacy skills (Microsoft Word and Excel
• Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well ability to engage with community members in an open manner, maintain confidentiality and respect
• Ability to communicate and write reports in English
• Language ability in Kiswahili, kibembe, Kiha and Kirundi are considered and as added advantage

Education: (include certificates, licenses etc.)
• University Degree in areas relevant to Community Organization, Humanitarian Work, Humanitarian Protection
• Experience in Camp Coordination and Camp Management work for 4 years.

Languages: (indicate fluency level)
• English – Fluent, including technical level
• Kirundi & Kibembe– Basic
