JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The Credit Assurance Officer (CAO) is accountable for KYC data validation and verification on all systems handed over including upselling appliances.
Credit Assurance Officer ensures processes and procedures on documentation of outsourced third-party products attached to our systems are adhered to.
Responsibilities
• Ensure all systems that are handed over have been audited, reflecting correct information on the database (DB/Paygee).
• Timely reporting of inventory data mismatch between customer accounts and purchased appliances.
• Ensuring purchased products carry the correct price TAG in the DB, aligned to the product bundle as correctly uploaded in the database.
• Following up with Shop Agent/Regional Business Executive (RBE) or Maintenance team on missing items during handover and item exchange.
• Finalization of all systems and extra sales/upselling of the appliance after physical handover by the Shop Agent.
• Support the implementation of new product introduction, contract updating, and other changes that affect handover operations in collaboration with RBE/Shop Agent.
• Review and complete maintenance service fee warranty.
• Timely reviewing and finalization of Pay-Tv handovers for example ZUKU, STARTIMES, etc. ensuring proper pricing is attached.
• Onboarding all new customers within seven days after handover.
• Escalating all onboarding cases with discrepancies to respective RBEs or Departments and resolving all updated cases in return.
• Contribute Ideas of continuous improvement (CIP) to the department, especially where directly applicable to assigned tasks.
• Undertaking any other duties which may be assigned by the Supervisor

Knowledge And SkillsExperience:
• Good understanding of loan accounts
• Previous experience in a business dealing with loans is a plus
• Experience in customer relationship management
• Proven ability to analyze larger sets of data and strong attention to detail.
• Good understanding of warehousing operations and business-to-customer (B2C) sales
• Team player
• Computer literacy, particularly good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Self-starter with a passion for Mobisol and its mission to plug in the world
• Fluency in the CO language and English
Qualifications:
• A minimum Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Microfinance, or any other related field
Language(s):
• Fluency in Swahili and English languages with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Technology:
• Experience in using Microsoft applications, computers, and smartphone-literate.
