JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our client manufacturing accounting department located Arusha outskirt.

Salary: Tshs 4, 000,000. 00 Gross Salary
Starting: 25th March, 2023
Benefits: Health Insurance & few others to be negotiated

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
2. Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
3. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
4. Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
5. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
6. Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
7. Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
8. Provide input into department’s goal setting process
9. Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
10. Assist with tax audits and tax returns
11. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
12. Plan, assign and review staff’s work
13. Support month-end and year-end close process
14. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
15. Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures

Skills and experience:
1. CPA or above.
2. 6-8 years’ full cycle experience with Accounting working papers, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, financial statement analysis
3. 5 years as Senior Corporate Accountant
4. Experience in parking or property management an asset
5. Must have excellent analytical and time-management skills
6. Must be proficient with MS Office
7. Excellent written and verbal communication
