JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for volunteer medical doctors with outstanding medical knowledge and excellent counseling skills. Doctors are expected to be compassionate, have attentive listening skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Responding to patients’ medical problems by referring to their history, carrying out
• diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referral, where necessary. Ordering lab tests and
• interpreting the test results
• To participate fully in morning clinical sessions, patient presentation.
• To participate in outreach programs.
• To attend emergency medical duties.
• To carry out investigations of admitted patients.
• To ensure that prescribed instructions are carried out
• To conduct minor and major operations.
• To carry out service and participating in major ward rounds.
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
• To ensure that patients are properly prepared for surgery.

Qualification and Experience
• Holder of either Doctor of Medicine Degree.
• Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University or
• institutions plus successful completion of Internship and registered with the Medical
• Council of Tanganyika.
• Great management and leadership skills.
• Remuneration will be in line with the set procedures of the organizations which consider the
• experience and qualifications of the candidate.
