Main Duties and Responsibilities
• To arrange and follow up all cargo for export
• To ensure all consignments are shipped and delivered within reasonable time
• Follow up freight and organise shipping lines
• Monitor of shipments and payment thereto
• Manage and ensure proper follow-ups and update with clients on their shipments
• Organize and ensure effective shipments and confirm all deliveries to clients
• Prepare all reports on exports and share with general manager
• Prepare cost estimates and pricing on shipments
• Ensure adherence to customs of the shipment
• Manage customs documents
• Manage files for invoicing and ensure the charges are correct
• Ensure observance and compliance application of incoterms
GENERAL
• Regular operational and quality updates with Higher Management.
• Maintain a good professional relationship with suppliers, external and internal customers and warehouse staff, including Managers
• Communicate professionally with all persons
• Effective use of e-mail communications.
• Reporting any incidents/damages to Higher Management.
• Advise management immediately when agreed procedures cannot be conformed to.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all clients specific requirements and procedures to ensure ability to step in on absence of another employee
• Compliance to all internal processes concerning export of cargos
• Adherence to Companies policies and procedures
• Contribute to strategic company initiatives
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by higher management.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Diploma or degree in areas of import and exports, transport and logistics, clearing and forwarding, shipment, or related fields
• At least 2 years’ experience in exports and/or imports control
• Excellent Computer skills
• Excellent accuracy skills
• Productivity measurement skills to achieve effective and efficient use of assigned resources.
• Problem solving skills for continuous improvement within the department.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Conformance to procedures and knowledge of the process.
• Skill in short interval control techniques.
• Interpersonal / customer service skills
