Chief Technical and Information Officer
Location: Tanzania

Overview:
The CTIO will be responsible for leading and executing STELLARIX’s data center operations and strategy. He ensures that STELLARIX remains technologically advanced, secure, and efficient. Deliver cutting-edge solutions to customers while driving innovation in infrastructure, cloud offerings, and operations. By aligning technology with business strategy, the CTIO will ensure that STELLARIX can meet current demands and anticipate future challenges in the fast-evolving digital landscape.

Challenges:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with STELLARIX’s business objectives, focusing on innovation in data center infrastructure, cloud services, and network solutions.
• Oversee the design, operation, and continuous improvement of data center facilities, ensuring high performance, uptime, and reliability.
• Implement advanced technologies to optimize efficiency and costs.
• Lead the development and delivery of cloud and colocation offerings that meet the evolving needs of customers, while fostering strong relationships and providing exceptional services.
• Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Enhance operational effectiveness by identifying and addressing challenges, ensuring robust information systems management, implementing strong cybersecurity practices, and mitigating risks to protect data and ensure business continuity.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of engineers, technical staff, and security personnel.

Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience normally obtained with 10 years of related experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in managing all aspects of data center activities, including Data Center Operation and Maintenance, IT infrastructure, cloud computing in large organizations.
