Tender For Supply Of Bicycles For Community Resource Person (Crps) And Local Service Providers (Lsps) For M0r060r0, Mvomero, Malinyi & Ulanga District Councils In Morogoro Region
HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation has signed the contract with The European Union (EU) for implementing a three-year project starting October 2023 to September 2026 called Sustainable Forest Management and Renewable Energy through Inclusive Community Empowerment – Uwezeshaji Jamii katika Usimamizi Endelevu wa Misitu na Nishati Mbadala (USEMINI) which aims to facilitate and support communities in the rural districts of Mvomero, Morogoro DC, Ulanga and Malinyi in Morogoro region of Tanzania to strengthen sustainable forest management and wood fuel production in an inclusive and market-oriented manner.

USEMINI has set aside funds for its operations intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for SUPPLY OF BICYCLES FOR COMMUNITY RESOURCE PERSON AND LOCAL SERVICE PROVIDERS IN MOROGORO, MVOMERO, ULANGA AND MALINYI IN MOROGORO REGION.
HELVETAS now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers to supply 200 (Two Hundred) units of Phoenix bicycles(Size 26 Inch)
Tendering will be conducted through Open Competitive Tendering procedures through HELVETAS guidelines and specified laws in Tanzania.
Interested tenderers may purchase a complete set of tendering documents in English and additional sets, by paying non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00. Payment should be made through HELVETAS accounts as provided during purchase of this document through our main project office in Morogoro.
All tenders in one original plus two copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be physically delivered to the following address.

Before or on 26 March 2024 at 14:00 Hrs.
Tender must be accompanied by a tender security amounting 27o of the tender price in an acceptable form of unconditional bank guarantee, banker’s cheque, or irrevocable letter of credit.
Late tenders, portion tender, tender submitted through post office, electronic tenders, tenders not opened and not read out in the public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
Please, also note that, HELVETAS is not bound to accept any lowest or highest bid and that, only successful tenderers will be contacted.
