JOB DETAILS:
Applicant Qualifications
• Employed and qualified Form Four / Six / Diploma, with a PhD from a recognized Government College with a one-year internship that is registered with the Pharmacy Council.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Identify the annual requirements for medicines and equipment and prepare its budget.
• Prescribing, purchasing, storing and distributing medicines and medical supplies.
• at his work station.
• Keeping records of medications.
• Prepare a list of hospital formulas (Hospital Fomulary) for use of the facility while working.
• Provide medicines and medical supplies to patients.
• Supervise the proper use of medication.
• Compounding for use of the facility when working
• Inspecting pharmacies in the private sector.
• Provide information on the side effects of adverse drug reaction.
• Educate subordinates, other health sector and community workers on the proper use of medication. Oversee the implementation of the National Drug Policy in the facility while operating.
• To perform such other duties as may be assigned to him or her by his or her supervisor for his or her education, experience and skills.
