Position Description
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit an Exploration Driver for Light Vehicle to join and grow our team.

Responsibilities
- Follow all documented Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Safely transport the exploration team in company vehicles, ensuring punctuality and professionalism at all times to ensure smooth operations during shift changes
- Strictly observe all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), traffic rules, and site-specific driving regulations both onsite and offsite, during daytime and nighttime operations.
- Maintain the company vehicle in excellent condition, performing daily inspections and adhering to all applicable site maintenance regulations and directives.
- Proactively identify and report any hazards or unsafe behaviours in the working area to promote a strong safety culture.
- Develop and adhere to an efficient work schedule that complements the roles and responsibilities of the exploration team.
- Plan all trips carefully, ensuring that all necessary equipment and documentation are on board before departure.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before each use and complete all required pre-operation documentation in line with site procedures.
- Immediately report any vehicle or equipment faults to the maintenance team responsible and/or the Exploration Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips, events, and fuel consumption records.
- Pick up and deliver goods and geological supplies according to schedule and directives from the Exploration team.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept in 100% operational condition, inside and out.
- Only undertake trips authorised by a valid work permit or official instruction; avoid unnecessary vehicle usage.
- Always uphold punctuality and professionalism to support field operations effectively.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to peers and management to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualification Requirements:
- Ordinary level certificate – Form IV
- VETA Driving Certificate
- Valid Tanzanian driving license, class B, C, D and E.
Skills / Knowledge Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a driver in a large organization, preferably in exploration/mining

Follow all documented Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Coordinate daily drilling logistics, including mobilising work crews on time and ensuring the availability of necessary safety gear and consumables. Monitor and maintain sufficient stock levels of drilling program supplies and safety equipment to support uninterrupted operations. Conduct sampling (RC, soil, trench, pit, stream, …), core orientation and marking, drill core sampling, geological measurements, sample processing, sample dispatch, and secure storage. Supervise field work as per the company SOP included but not limited to drill pad preparation, drill rig set up, trench and pit excavations. Collect drill core samples in full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), accurately recording all required information and applying QA/QC practices to maintain sample integrity. Prepare samples to the highest standard before dispatch, ensuring no contamination, mixing, or loss. Deliver timely and accurate geological data, reports, and documentation, including daily and weekly updates. Support business outcomes by ensuring high-quality geological data delivery, maintaining good sample quality, achieving strong core recovery, and reporting any irregularities to management. Maintain accurate data entry and organised filing systems to ensure traceability and compliance. Provide timely and constructive feedback to peers and management to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
