JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary.
Our Client, a Manufacturing Company is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Accountant to fill in the accounts team assisting in the daily tasks of the accounting and finance function.

Responsibilities;
• Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable and/or accounts receivable records, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization and follow up dues from customers.
• Review and Verify information on invoice items, prices, receiving signatures, invoice payments, arithmetic accuracy of invoices.
• Maintaining all necessary records, correspondences and files for accounts receivable and accounts payables.
• Obtaining confirmations and reconciling discrepancies for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Update of account status and database on regular intervals.
• Plan course of action to make payments to vendors and recovering outstanding payments.
• Keep track of all vendor and customer accounts to monitor account trends and report accordingly.
• Regular follow up with customers outstanding and coordination with lawyers for any action to be taken.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Preparation of periodic reports as required.
• Any other tasks as allocated by Finance Head

Requirements
• The candidate should have at least basic accounting knowledge.
• Should be a qualified CPA/ACCA or pursuing CPA/ACCA.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing industry.
