Background
PASS Leasing Company Limited is a private Limited Company Owned by PASS Trust. It was incorporated under the Tanzania Companies Act, 2002 as a private limited company and licensed by the Bank of Tanzania as a Financial Leasing Institution. It commenced operations in 2021 and has since established itself as a reputable Leasing Company in Tanzania.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our team at PASS Leasing Company Limited. As a leading provider of financial leasing services, we are committed to delivering exceptional value to our clients through innovative Leasing solutions. The Management Accountant will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely financial information, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management based on financial reports.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets, identifying any deviations and proposing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure the accuracy of budget assumptions.
3. Cost Analysis:
• Conduct regular cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
• Provide financial insights on the impact of cost changes on overall business performance.
4. Internal Controls:
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as requested by auditors.
5. Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Support strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial analysis and projections.
• Conduct feasibility studies for potential investments or business expansion opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases for new projects.


Requirements:
a) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting designation (CPA or its equivalent) is highly preferred.
b) Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the Leasing or Financial services industry.
c) Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation regulations. d. Proficient in using financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
d) Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. f. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
e) Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment. h. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
