CMS (Tanzania) Limited is a highly respected mineral exploration drilling company with operations in Tanzania. An industry leader in safety with ambitious growth strategies, we are seeking applications for the following position by dedicated and professional individuals who would like to join our dynamic team. This position will provide the opportunity to be part of a team that contributes towards the exciting growth of the mining industry in Tanzania.

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Mechanical Engineer Intern who has the following skills and experience.

Mechanical Engineer Intern
Location: Mwanza, Tanzania

Responsibilities
Maintenance Support
• Assist in the inspection, servicing, and maintenance of mechanical systems/equipment
• Trouble shooting and recommending solutions
Technical Assistance
• Collaborate with engineers to analyse equipment performance and suggest improvements
• Conduct mechanical tests to diagnose faults or verify repairs

Reporting and documentation
• Document equipment maintenance history and create standard operating procedures
• Compile daily and weekly reports on maintenance activities and system performance

Project Support
• Contribute to ongoing mechanical projects, including system upgrades and installations
• Conduct research, while recommending parts, materials, and tools required for mechanical systems
• Assist in the implementation of a new ERP system (Dynamics 365) and then provide on-going technical support to maintenance teams

Requirements
• Diploma/Degree from High school
• Advance MS Office specifically MS Excel
• Knowledge & experience of ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics/ACCPAC preferable
• Experience in mining preferable but not essential

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
