Operations Manager
This role oversees and manages all the operational activities of the Wilderness Wayo Ltd Tanzania business, elevating our superb guest experiences to even greater heights. Reporting to the Country Managing Director, you will be based at our Arusha office and required to travel extensively to various camps in the field. You will work closely with the management teams to implement business strategies, continuously looking at ways to optimise the business’ operating capabilities.

• Equipment oversight
• Operational efficiency
• Fleet management
• Human Resources management
• Government agency relationships
• Financial oversight
• Impact and Children in the Wilderness
• Supplier management

Qualifications & experience
• Preferably, prior experience working in Tanzania, preferably in the tourism industry
• Experience in hospitality management
• Fluent in English; a grasp of Kiswahili will be an advantage
• Proven leadership skills and cool approach to handling difficult situations
• Ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Tertiary education diploma or certificate
