Singida Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (SUWASA) was established under section 3(1) of cap 282 1998 as repealed by section 60 of Water and Sanitation Act No.12 of 2009. SUWASA is charged with the overall responsibility of operations and management of Water Supply and Sanitation services in Singida urban within the Municipality.

Senior Engineer (Planning & Designing)

Required Qualifications
Holder of a Degree in Civil Water Resources Engineering or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions and registered as professional engineer with Engineers Registration Board (EBB) of Tanzania with at least six (6) years working experience. Computer literate in Network design by using CAD, Microsoft Windows is an added advantage.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To plan and Survey all water works tor new water supply distribution networks tor new customer connections.
  
• To coordinate field survey; prepare engineering designs, BOO and project write ups (or documents) of all Planned areas for water and sewerage infrastructure development
  
• To collect, compile, evaluate, update and keep records of mater and sewerage works
  
• To coordinate planning, monitoring and extension and/or renovation of office structures and Authority's residential houses
  
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Technical Manager.
  
• Age Limit: not above 40 years
