JOB DETAILS:
  Henry Jackson Foundation Medical Research International (HJFMRI) is an international non-governmental research organization working in several countries providing care and treatment to people affected by HIV/AIDS and has been actively involved in HIV and AIDS programming for over 30 years.
HJFMRI implements PEPFAR-funded HIV prevention, care, and treatment activities in the Southern Highlands Zone of Tanzania (Southern Highlands Program) and country wide for TPDF providing resources, personnel, and technical support for service provision. The program has expanded from supporting the Mbeya Zonal Referral Hospital to becoming a hub for anti-retroviral treatment in the Southern Highlands Zone to community support through decentralized services, with the overall objective of implementing clinical HIV prevention, care, treatment and research services in Mbeya, Rukwa, Katavi, Ruvuma, and Songwe regions in the Zone.

Job Title: Controller

GENERAL OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of financial accounting and reporting of the program. The Controller will serve as the point person for accounting, auditing and reporting functions. He/she is responsible for ensuring that the program complies with all applicable financial policies and procedures, laws and regulations and donor reporting requirements. This position will be based in Mbeya and will cover both Tanzania People’s Defense Forces (TPDF) and Southern Highland Zone(SHZ) programs..
