DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Advise on the matters pertaining to Information, Communication and Technology as an instrument to improve service delivery;
• Supervise the design and develop ICT systems and oversee installation and maintenance of hardware and software;
• Advise and maintain hardware and software security measures;
• Manage and administer WAN, LAN, WEB server and databases;
• Maintain and implement BRELA ICT Policy in accordance to the National ICT Policy;
• Monitor and oversee performance of hardware, software and ICT infrastructure;
• Liaise with e-GA and other Government Institutions in automation and integration of government business processes;
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity management plan;
• Undertake periodic review of user manuals and liaise with software service providers;
• Participate in the preparations of action plan, progress reports and budget;
• Coordinate ICT auditing;
• Prepare Unit training needs requirement; and
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

  QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with Master’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification and working experience of not less than ten (10) years in the relevant field of which 3 years must be in senior position from a reputable Institution.
REMUNERATION: Salary Scale According to Salary scale of BRS 11
