HEALTH AND SAFETY EXPERT A long-established Engineering and Project Management Consultancy firm, in a Joint Venture (JV) with an international Consultancy Engineering firm is looking for highly motivated, suitably qualified and experienced Health and Safety Expert, on a part time basis, for the on-going Solid Waste Management Project in Zanzibar Municipality. .

Qualifications and experience required: - Technical qualification to at least diploma level in health and safety theory and practice or a related field, e.g. occupational health. At least 5 years of field monitoring of health & safety safeguards implementation on infrastructural projects; At least 2 construction projects as health and safety expert responsible for ensuring health & safety measures are implemented as per stipulations in the Health & Safety Management Plan and for updating of the plan to meet any new risks or adverse developments Knowledge of international health & safety guidelines; Working experience in sub-Saharan Africa. Fluency in the English language and knowledge of Kiswahili will be an advantage
