JOB DETAILS:

Kwanza TV is looking for an experienced, marketing professional who will be solely responsible for the full development, management and implementation of all marketing strategies. You will be working closely with the company’s management and stakeholders to implement, develop and boost numbers via marketing strategies as well as procuring targets.
Overall Responsibility:
The responsibility of the Marketing Executive is to provide project management and administrative support to the business development team.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the daily growth and development of assigned campaigns
• Assisting with efforts of customer acquisition and retention
• Expertly managing the needs of external customers
• Driving sales through retail promotional campaigns
• Build brand recognition through local events and experiential marketing
• Strategise, execute and manage along side the Content teams
• Interact and communicate with clients
• Aid marketing and advertising associates and senior staff with specific projects related to each client
• Submit monthly reports and target reports
Education, skills and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent.
• 3 years marketing/communications experience – creative, analytics and media purchasing
• Possess deep understanding of how marketing supports/impacts the overall P&L of a business
• Experience with direct response brand– understanding of media as a key driver of a business, tying buying strategies to key business metrics
• Have an independent, innovative mindset – capable of launching new channels with little precedent or guidance
• Strong research skills
• Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken English and Kiswahili
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Must have flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of the stakeholders.
