Financial Manager-1 Post
Required Qualifications:
• University Degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a finance role, 5 of which must be at a senior management level.
• Qualified accountant preferably CPA and registered with NBAA
• Sound knowledge of organisation finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
• Sound knowledge of TRA and tax matters as well as staying abreast of all relevant regulations.
• Good understanding of budgeting, financial analysis and forecasting.
• Financial planning and reporting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and management skills.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, online quick book and accounting systems.
• Age Must be A0 years and above

Qualifications
• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/banking in related field with minimum two to four years’ experience.
• Excellent communication, measurement, and record keeping skills
The payroll clerk has multiple responsibilities, along with those outlined below:
• Attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to process data quickly to manage employees to pay checks accurately each month.
• Strong financial understanding and excellent verbal communication skills. Knowledge of practices and laws related to Payroll preparation.
• Collect daily, weekly or monthly attendance records. Answer staff questions patiently and calmly. Resolve any errors related to payment issues.
• Any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Scope of position
The successful candidate should be ready to work under minimum supervision, for considerable lengths of time when required.
Summary of the position:
To perform financial clerical activities.
Position relationship:
The position holder shall report to incharge of finance and accounts
Key qualifications:
1. Holders of certificate in accountancy from recognized institutions or accounts technician certificate i (atec i) issued by (nbaa) or equivalent qualification recognized by nbaa.
2. Must be a computer literate
3. Fluent in both kiswahili and english
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Undertake general financial clerical duties
2. Filing and record keeping of financial transactions
3. To prepare and issue cheques
4. To collect income
5. To prepare payments
6. To undertake bank reconciliation
7. Process salary and wages payment
8. Update assets register
9. Undertake annual stock-taking
10. Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

JOB DETAILS:
Duties and responsibilities
• To reconcile fees, register;
• To receive and keep in proper custody bills, invoices and other claims pending payment;
• To maintain an updated cheque register;
• To prepare bank reconciliation statements;
• To reconcile general ledger balances with subsidiary ledger balances;
• To assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts.
Qualification and experiences
• Holder of Secondary Education Certificate with Certificate in Accounting and Finance or its Equivalent
