Qualified persons are requested to hereby apply to Conduct an evaluation of capacity development to Strengthen national anti-doping program in Tanzania
Qualifications:
• 10 years of experience in evaluating programmes and/or policies relevant to the funded project, at the national and/or international level.
• Strong strategic policy and legal ssessment/analysis skills.
• Strong oral and writing abilities in the national language of the implementing contract, as well as good oral and writing abilities in english or french.
• Understanding and knowledge of the anti-doping convention and its fund.
• Advanced university degree in specialized fields of social science, law, public policy, international relations or related fields;
• No previous involvement in the design or implementation of the activities under review.
• It is desirable that the evaluator or a member of the Evaluation team possesses the following qualifications
And characteristics:
• Knowledge of sport-related matters at the national and/or regional level, notably concerning existing anti-doping mechanisms and networks.
• Understanding and application of un mandates in human rights and gender equality.
• Experience in the evaluation of multi-stakeholder initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess:
• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in retail, at a company with over $100,000 in annual turnover, or a leading regional or international accounting firm
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; CPA a plus but not required
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills, preferably Quickbooks
• An enthusiastic team player and strong interpersonal skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Match purchase orders with invoices, delivery notes, goods received notes
• Liaise with the supplier relations team to confirm that contract terms have been satisfied before processing payment
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments and credit notes on the accounting system
• Verify cash and inventory numbers on the accounting system
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations, including payroll, operating and business taxes
• Prepare payables reports and other financial and analytical reports for review by management

Key qualifications
• Holder of Diploma in Accountancy from any recognized learning Institution; or equivalent qualification recognized by NBAA(ATEC II);
• Must be computer literate;
• Must not be above 35 years of age;
• Must be fluent in Kiswahili and English languages;
• Must be a Tanzania citizen.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To collect all weighbridge charges (fees) according to weighbridge report form;
• To seek current USD exchange rates issued by Bank of Tanzania for case of imposing charges that are equivalent to Tanzania shillings and keep exchange rate records;
• To fill all necessary records timely; and
• To perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Shift In charge/Supervisor.
