JOB DETAILS:
Position Description
The Employee shall serve the ‘Employer’ in the Capacity of MLIMANI SACCOS MANAGER/CHIEF ACCOUNTANT and in that capacity He /She shall be responsible to the MSL Board for planning, co-ordination, and guiding the SACCOs Management in implementing the SACCOS’s Strategic Objectives and Policies.

Duties and Responsibilities.
• Provided in MSL Job Description Manual
• Professional and Academic Requirements
• Bachelor of Commerce (Finance/Banking/Accounting) OR Bachelor of Business Administration OR B.A Economics, or any other Degree coupled qualifications in Finance and accounting OR any equivalent qualifications from accredited University/institution CPA(T)
• Age between 25-55 years.
• At least three years’ relevant experience at a management level in a SACCOS or Financial institution. (Micro-Finance).
• Certificate of good conduct.
• Possession of MBA, Certifications in SACCOS’s operations, first degree in Cooperative Management, Business Manage¬ment, Microfinance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship will be an added advantage.

Other Requirements
• Experience in strategic management including planning, goal setting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and reporting, strong team building skills and able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure maximum efficiency from the human resource.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regula¬tions
• Computer literacy and skills (Advanced user of MS Word, Excel), knowledge and proficiency in computerized account¬ing operations, knowledge of computerized financial management system
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
