JOB DETAILS:

• Teaching assigned Agriculture related modules and associated courses in accordance with the college’s workload policy.
• Prepare teaching plans, assessment plans, demonstration plans, and teaching materials for all classes, Prepare and evaluate teaching schedule, curriculum, and teaching calendars.
• Provide a safe, nurturing classroom and school environment that helps students to develop as learner’s performance and programs.
• Prepare course materials such as, homework assignments, and handouts.
• Conduct field, workshops, and seminars on agriculture to students in conformance to the Agronomy tutor duties.
• Evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory work, field works, assignments, and papers.
• Consistently plan, resource and deliver lessons that allow stimulating and enjoyable learning to take place
• Ensure that all students are given quality feedback in order to make rapid and sustained progress
• Contribute to the development of sound literacy skills for all students
• Work with students, staff, and parents to promote consistently excellent behavior for learning and caring, respectful relationship.
• Assess, evaluate, and grade students’ overall academic
• Perform other duties as directed by administration.
• To train technical personnel for the agriculture sector who will manage agricultural production programs.

Qualifications/education: Holder of diploma / B.Sc. In Agriculture general, Agronomy, food science and animal science.

Experience: Two to Three years’ experience of teaching in specific field.
