JOB DETAILS:
• TEF Consult is a management consultant firm dealing with a range of management functions from organizational change, talent search, acquisition, and executive selection. Our client, an established and leading Telecommunication Company, is looking to recruit experienced, young, energetic, and passionate professionals on the following positions. Position: IT: Infrastructure Engineer Role purpose: The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all technology infrastructures which includes data center, network (LAN & WAN) and server services, telephony, service monitoring, user support, servers, storage, backup, Service Continuity and Shops and partner connectivity. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure.

Desired Qualification
• Degree in IT, Project Management, Business Management or a similar Degree in IT or related discipline
• 3 years Experience in IT Infrastructure & Networking
• MCSE + Security
• CISCO Certified (CCNA/ CCNP)

Experience
• Minimum 3 Years experience in the related field and position

Skills Required
• Knowledge in Networking (Routers, Firewalls, Switches Proxy), VoIP, CCTV systems, cable management, fiber, etc.
• Experienced in server hardware and operating systems preferably Windows Servers, and Unix/ Linux environments.
• Knowledgeable in Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP)
• communication, and presentation skills (required)

Responsibilities Key accountabilities
• Responsible for day-to-day system administration, including management of internal network (LAN, WAN, DMZ), VPN, server storage and system backups. Monitor, diagnose and resolve problems with key IT systems to ensure systems work efficiently.
• Responsible for shops and partner network connectivity
• Recognize problems, develop recommendations and solutions, and oversee correction within assigned specialty
• Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and support new and existing systems, networks, and software.
• Monitoring these operating environments.
• Ensure that regular backups on supported servers are performed according to the plan
• Conducts testing and analysis of all components of network and server infrastructure.
• Ensure that projects are executed within scope and deliverables are met by liaising effectively with Project Managers and the business.
• Ensure that documentation of server configurations, local area networks and any changes to the configuration/network design is carried out.
• Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response.
