  The Office of Nzega District Executive Director, is announcing a total of 47 one year contract on behalf of Management Development For Health (MDH) job vacancies as follows:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Data Officer (Afisa Takwimu) - 2 (Posts)
Report to CTC In charge
Full time work station: CTC, PMCT.

Qualification and work experience: Certificate/Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in record Management/ secretarial services, with 1-year experience in Data Entry is added advantage. Experience in computer basic skills Work station: CTC, PMTCT Clinic

Expectations:
• Data entry Clerks will be expected to satisfy the following requirements for continued employment.
• Enter CTC 2 cards, any other HIV related data source form with a speed and
• accuracy that meets or exceeds the minimum standards set weekly by DACC, District data officer - MDH
• Report both verbally and in writing database or entry problems to DACC, District dara officer within 15 minutes of discovering the problem
• Reporting all CTC 2 card with problems to CTC in charge at each day for timely
• rectification.
• Reconcile all HIV related database differences by accurately correcting data using source documents.
• Performing mobile data entry to small sites for in-charge of any breeches of ethical conduct
• Comply with administrative and human resources policies
• Attend meetings as necessary at the specified time

Duties and responsibilities
• Data officer will be under the direct supervision of a CTCI/C as well as report to District data officer (DDO)
• Tasks for a data officer will include but not be limited to the following activities.
• Enter quickly and accurately clinical, laboratory, pharmacy, tracking or
• other forms into database under the monitoring of DDO and reporting the DACC.
• Communicate both verbally and in writing with supervisors regarding forms with problems
• Sort of file forms as needed in numerical order.
• Conduct DQA's on a monthly basis
• Conduct data checks on daily basis after data entry
• Prepare graphs and inform CTC/PMCT on progress of indicators vs target Set base problemences ben inte forma
• Communicate both verbally and writing with supervisors regarding database problems
• Reconcile differences between different database by running compare program, reviewing appropriate form and correcting all differences
• Locate and review archived or filed forms if necessary
• Attend data staff meetings at the specified times
• Communicate both verbally and in writing suggestions for improvements to data entry or data flow to supervisors
• Complete other data tasks as assigned
