JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To assist navigation and watch keeping duties in all conditions;
• To repair and fabricate all fishing gears;
• To prepare monthly inspections of all safety equipment on board and ashore;
• To carry out minor vessel repairs;
• To upkeep and maintains cleanliness on deck;
• To check and repair mooring lines.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Form IV and Certificate in one of the following fields: Master-fisherman Nautical Science (NTA Level 4) with Mandatory Safety Certificate or Small Vessel Operators Safety Certificate or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions
REMUNERATION PGSS 2
