JOB DETAILS:
  The Teofilo Kisanji University (TEKU) would like to recruit the following members of staff:-
IT TECHNICIANS/COMPUTER OPERATOR II (2) POSTS
Duty Station: TEKU Mbeya
Reports to: Head ICT Unit.

Education Qualifications: Holder of Form IV/VI Certificate with Diploma in Computer Studies from a recognised institution; OR holder of a Certificate in Computer Studies and bias in computer operations and working experience of at least three years in a similar position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists in dissemination of run jobs to students.
• Assists in software maintenance.
• Assists in running small scale customer jobs.
• Runs customer jobs including students’ programs.
• Keeps computer time run log reports.
• Performs light maintenance of computers on daily basis.
• Reports on operating status including faults and failures of the hardware systems to one are reporting officer.
• Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by one’s reporting officer.
