JOB DETAILS:
Green Community Initiatives (GCI) is the Non-Governmental Organization registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act number 24 of 2002 as amended from time to time and issued registration Certificate with registration number 00NGO/R/1265 on 20th August 2020 with a mandate to operate nationally, GCI is headquartered in Shinyanga Municipality, Shinyanga Region, Tanzania GCI is nonprofit, nonpolitical, non-religious organization that exists to promote, support and defend rights of all children, youths, women, people living with HIV/AIDS and people with disability, alleviate poverty and hence tackle all socio-economic challenges through collective efforts with the community, stakeholders and other development actors. GCI members noted that Tanzania community is facing several critical challenges that include high unemployment rate, HIV/AIDS infection, declining educational and health services standards, poor living conditions, persistent violence against children, gender based violence and exclusion of people with disability in the community. .

Primary Responsibilities:
• Actively participates in development, thrives as a dynamic, proactive, and continuous learner
• Helps to improve GCI’s results through a project or proposal writing or series of work
• Gain an understanding of network expansion
• Work alongside our project teams as we continue to extend and upgrade our networks through fundraising
Core Responsibilities:
• Proposal writing,
• Processes routine items and records.
• Answers phones and takes messages or provides information.
• Assists with projects to ensure deadlines are met.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work extra hours
• Open social media accounts and operate regularly
Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences particularly project based fields
