JOB DETAILS:

• Job purpose: Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.
• Minimum requirements:
  • Certificate or Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering / Trade Test Certification (Grade I or Level III) in Electrical or Automotive Electrical.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair of haulage tractors, haulage trucks, agricultural tractors, heavy equipment, and other automotive machinery.
  • Valid driving license Class A, A1, and D preferred.
• Key skills:
  • Hands-on experience with electrical systems in bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and other heavy-duty machinery.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic components, transmission, and braking systems.
• Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs on vehicles.
  • Perform testing on vehicle batteries, alternators, starters, and other electrical systems.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and services performed.
