The Fair Competition Commission is an independent Government Soddy established under the Fair Competition Act, 2003 (No. 8 of 2003) to promote and protect effective competition in trade and commerce and to protect consumer from unfair and misleading market conduct. "The ultimate goal of the Act is to increase efficiency in the production, distribution and supply of goods and services. The Fair Competition Commission {FCC} new invites Public Servants whose salaries are gained through Human Capital Management information System (HCMIS}
- ‘Lawson’ and wish to TRANSFER their employment service to FCC to submit their applications to fill the posts identified below:

SENIOR DRIVER II FCC/SD II/01/2018 - 5 POSTS

Reports to: Human Resource and Administration Officer

Direct Entry Qualifications

• Holder of Secondary Education Certificate with Valid class C driving license and Trade Test/Advanced Driving Course from recognized institution with not less than four years’ experience in Driving;
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili languages.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Driving Motor vehicle as assigned by the designated personnel;
• Carrying out daily vehicle check-up according to standard daily checklist
• Maintaining good running condition of the motor vehicle and carrying out minor repair;
• Ensuring timely performance of major and minor service according to schedule;
• Undertaking regular recording of log book for all trips;
• Maintaining security and cleanliness of Motor Vehicles;
• Reporting promptly any accident or incidence involving the vehicles to immediate supervisor and/or traffic police
• Performing any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.

Thereafter the selected Public Servants will have to follow all necessary TRANSFER process according to Laws Governing Public Service.
