JOB DETAILS:
TARURA Manyara Regional Manager Office, on behalf of the Chief Executive, intends to recruit self-motivated, qualified, and competent Tanzanians to fill the following vacant posts on temporary contracts for one (01) year.

6 Driver
Duty stations: Babati District, Mbulu District, Kiteto District, Simanjiro District, and Hanang District.
Educational/Professional Qualifications
• Holder of Form IV National Certificate.
• Class ‘C1’ or ‘E’ Driving License and has attended a Basic Driving Course offered by VETA or any other recognized institution.
• Fluent in both Kiswahili and English.
• Must be a Tanzanian Citizen.

Work Experience
The candidate must have driving experience of at least one (1) year without causing an accident.
Age Limit: Not above 45 years.

Salary
According to the TARURA scale.

Duties and Responsibilities
• To drive motor vehicles in accordance with road traffic rules and regulations.
• To inspect the motor vehicle before and after any journey to identify required maintenance or rehabilitation.
• To ensure that a motor vehicle and its equipment (jack, spanner, spare tire, etc.) are available and in good condition.
• To carry out minor/routine maintenance of vehicles.
• To ensure that the motor vehicle doors and windows are properly locked and safe at all times.
• To ensure the cleanliness of the motor vehicle at all times.
• To record and maintain records pertaining to any journey in the logbook.
• To assist in collecting and dispatching mails.
• To report any accidents immediately to supervisor and traffic police.
• To perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
