Balakrishna Sreekumar & Co., a leading audit firm in Dar es Salaam, is seeking qualified and experienced Audit Seniors to join our dynamic team. If you are a dedicated professional with the following credentials, we invite you to apply for this opportunity:

Position: Audit Senior

Key Requirements:
• Qualification: Qualified CPA/ACCA with 3 to 5 years of relevant statutory audit experience.
• Independence: Ability to independently handle mid-sized client audits and collaborate effectively in a team for large clients.
• Experience: Sound knowledge of statutory audits, preferably gained in a reputed audit firm.
• Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with ISAs/lASs and IFSs to ensure compliance with international standards.
• Audit Expertise: Proficiency in Audit Programs, Planning, Execution, and Conclusions.
• Technology Skills: Strong control over IT applications, and familiarity with audit software such as Case ware will be considered an added advantage.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in Kiswahili and English speaking is essential.
• Availability: Able to join within one month

Job description:
As an Audit Senior at Balakrishna Sreekumar & Co., you will:
• Lead and execute statutory audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases.
• Conduct risk assessment and audit planning to identify key areas of risk and develop appropriate audit procedures.
• Review and analyze financial statements, accounting records, and internal controls.
• Perform audit procedures, document findings in working papers, and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Identify audit issues, provide recommendations for improvement, and follow up on findings.
• Assist in the development and implementation of audit programs, procedures, and tools.
• Stay updated with changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends.

• Salary will commensurate with the candidate's work experience and knowledge.
