JOB DETAILS:
1. PURPOSE STATEMENT OF THE JOB
To Manage all Jema Africa branches and her sister Companies accounting functions financial transactions, assets liabilities and cash flow in compliance with JAL Standard Operation Procedures;
1.0 BRANCH ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS, TAX AND STOCK CONTROL
1.1 Checks and maintains daily financial transactions, Store’s operations in line with Jema Africa standards Operations Procedures.
• Prepares assets liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Summaries current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other report.
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedure
• Versifying and inspecting financial transactions by documents
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Answer’s accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulation.
• Complies with country and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
