SIMBA SPORTS CLUB COMPANY LIMITED (Simba) is a company responsible for the management and running of the 83-year-old club, Simba Sports Club, which was founded in 1936 and is a registered member of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF). Simba's mission is to promote, advance, foster and cultivate the game of football in Tanzania while developing top-level football players to be able to compete at the highest level nationally, regionally and continently. With the ongoing rapid transformation that the Club is undertaking, we intended to create an efficient and vibrant commercial entity that will contribute very positively to the development of the football club industry in Tanzania In light of the above, Simba is seeking applications from competent, dynarnic and self-motivated individuals (local or foreign) to fill up the following positions:
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO):
Summary:
CCO is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of the clubs marketing and advertising initiatives, Reporting to the CEO, the CCO's primary responsibility is to generate revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the club using market research, pricing, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations..
Responsibilities:
• Seeking and identifying opportunities for attracting new commercial business
• Overseeing the development and management of the club's commercial activity, relative to sponsorship platforms and media rights:
• Strong multimedia specialist in sponsorships and activations
• The driving of matchday and commercial revenues in accordance with the opportunities presented to the club
• Research the experience of the custorner/ían in interacting with the organization and drive improvements.
• Communicating regularly with other executives on marketing activity
• Build brand awareness and ensure all communications align with club values
• Taking responsibility for the design and content of the club's website and social media outlet, maximizing visitor conversion.
• This includes acquiring reliable and comprehensive data on sales and customer/fan experience from different departments
• Establish the marketing budget and track return of investment.
• Drive investment in digital marketing and roll out technological upgrades for the club Identifying opportunities in the market and drive growth of the club
• Ability to manage and run marketing, branding and commercial functions across board.
• Experience in working with MultiCultural groups - Track record of sales and marketing background

Requirements:
• BSCBA in Marketing or relevant field; MSC MBA is preferred
• 5+ years of proven experience asCCO or positions with focus on marketing expansion - Proven experience of working in a managerial role in a dynamic and highly competitive environment
• Demonstrate a well-rounded knowledge of the marketing industry
• Strong leadership and project development skills
• Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, decision-making and leadership abilities
