Agronomic for Community Empowerment, is a Non-Governmental Organizations working to promote sustainable, modern, quality and productive agricultural practices through training, seminars, workshops and collaboration with Government and other stakeholders. The organization is registered by the Registrar of Non-Governmental Organizations under the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children with registration number 00NGO/00009830, located in Iringa Region, Kilolo District, Mazombe Division, Ilula Ward, and Masukanzi Hamlet, P.O. Box 181, Mazombe, Iringa.

The organization is connected to the Farm for the Future Tanzania Limited Company with large 651acres farm in Kilolo District. It is a regional development project running cooperation with local authorities in the Iringa Region, Tanzania. The key focus is to deliver a commercially driven, viable farm.
Thus, the organization aims at delivering training in agriculture for youth, local farmers and young single mothers.

As part of this, the organization, through FFF, will have “Children’s Farm for the Future” for classes from kindergartens and primary schools in the district. The objective is to “awake their interest in and grow their knowledge of agriculture”.
The Agronomic for Community Empowerment organization seeks a visionary and responsible Chief Instructor in Agriculture.

The organization is looking for a person with teaching experience in agricultural subjects. S/He must enjoy teaching both adults and children, and document the ability to be a good motivator for the pupils. The person must be highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to show initiative to achieve goals. Masterly of the work and ability to communicate with experts from other institutions, such as fertilizer companies like Yara, Universities like SUA, High schools in Agriculture, government leaders at Village, District and Regional levels, are the key criteria for the person applying for the job.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

• University Degree in Agriculture
  
• Experience of two years from farming and/or processing of farm products
  
• Teaching qualifications
  
• Class C driving license would be an advantage
  
• Documented results achieved
