JOB DETAILS:

Civil Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY: The Civil Engineer will join a team to design, supervise, and monitor the construction of school latrines per government of Tanzanian standards across multiple districts in the Morogoro and lringa Regions and. as required. support water supply construction work; Position will be based in Morogoro with frequent travel to construction sites; Will directly supervise on-site quality control managers (engineering interns) who are based 24??‘ at construction sites. Will work closely with local government authorities and schools to coordinate implementation of activities.

EDUCATION: Relevant graduate degree in environmental or civil engineering

EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a registered graduate or professional engineer with a minimum 4 years’ experience supervising construction, with a preference for experience in School WASH:
• Must have experience preparing BOQs and drawings per GoT standards:
• Must have experience in contract management and supervising contractors on-site: Must have strong management and organizational skills.
