JOB DETAILS:
Job Details
We are looking for a person with experience in the agricultural field and training Farmers. You must enjoy teaching both adults and children and document your ability to be a good motivator for the pupils. We want a female/male that is highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to show initiative to achieve goals. You must also like and master to work and communicate with expertise from partners and other institutions, such as fertilizing companies like Yara, universities like SUA, High schools in Agriculture, as well as communicate well with local Villages, District and Regional levels.
Professional presentation of the organization and good communication with organizations or people willing to donate money for running any of the programs is also necessary.
You will be reporting to the Board of Directors and are responsible to them for the results.

You will lead a small team of knowledgeable and multi-skilled people and take full responsibility for the 4 existing programs.
1. Farmers For the Future
2. Women for the Future
3. Goat Milk for Nutrition and profit
4. Children’s FFF

Responsibilities

• Make sure the programs are planned and executed in line with the strategy and targets set.
• Make sure the budget is met.
• Develop the strategy, including get the funding for the work to be done, so after 10 years the Villages will stand on their own. Baseline study done in 2021 is part of the situation today.
• Manage communications through media relations, social media etc.
• Manage the team so that they all can use their knowledge to the best of the cause, and stay highly motivated and result driven.
• Work closely with the FFF key people and knowledge center at the farm
• Support growth and program development
• work with partners in implementing programs in challenging environments.

Job requirements and Skills
• University Degree in Agriculture
• Experience from farming and/or processing of farm products
• Proven experience as program coordinator or relevant position
• Training farmers qualification will be an added advantage.
• Class C driving license would be an advantage.
• Documented results achieved.
• Knowledge of program management and development procedures
• Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Good record for proven results achievement with high efficiency
• Ability to communicate and write in English

Remuneration


Competitive salary and benefits will be offered to the successful applicant related to qualifications and experience.
