CONSULTANCY OPPORTUNITY
End of Term Evaluation – Smallholder Coffee Development Project (CODE-P) in Tanzania
Vi Agroforestry, a Swedish development organization, seeks to evaluate the Smallholder Coffee Development Project (CODE-P) in Tanzania. Over 40 years, Vi Agroforestry has empowered smallholder farmers in East Africa through agroforestry and sustainable agriculture land management (SALM). CODE-P aims to enhance the coffee value chain’s inclusive and sustainable development, targeting Ruvuma, Mbeya, and Songwe regions.

Objectives:
1. Assess project relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability, and knowledge management.
2. Document significant changes, good practices, and lessons learned.
3. Identify facilitators and constraints to project success.
4. Provide recommendations for future projects.

Requirements:
1. Tanzanian national with a master’s degree in relevant fields.
2. Over five years of experience in consultancy, program evaluation, and governance.
3. Proficiency in agriculture, economics, and gender issues.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Timeline: Evaluation period starts on April 15, 2023, lasting 30 days.
