JOB DETAILS:
DECLARATION OFFICER
INDUSTRY: OIL AND GAS
HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for Declaration Officer who will be in charge of ensuring that purchased goods are delivered to the respective buyers and handles all documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES;
* Ensure that any customs queries are resolved in a timely manner for current shipments on clearance and those on customs audit queries, mostly by coordinating with clients.
* Ensure that photocopies of clearance documents are adequate for Customs and correctly filed.
* Ensure that all declaration documents are in order for submission to customs
* Managing the clearing and documentation process for transit parcels.
* Validations of the border.
* Preparation of Assessments.
* Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transit operations.
* Correctly insert Import Declaration Form data into the TANCIS system.

QUALIFICATIONS;
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding or any other related field from a reputable training institution.
* 3+ years of proven experience in clearing and documentation of transit parcels.
* Knowledge on TANCIS/TPA is required.
* Strong attention to details, good analytical skills, ability to multi-task and high level of integrity, self-driven, innovative, problem solvers, willing to learn, good timekeeper.
