JOB DETAILS:
  Dodoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (DUWASA) was established under section 3(1) of Cap. 272 of 1997 as repealed by section 60 of Water supply and Sanitation Act No. 05 of 2019. DUWASA is charged with the overall responsibility of operations and management of water supply and sanitation services in Dodoma urban within the Municipality.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THE POSTS: Permanent and Pensionable.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, skills and Abilities) Form IV with Trade Test Grade 111/ll in Electrical Engineering with three (3) years working in the Operation and Maintenance of electrical works.

  Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
• Carries out regular electrical maintenance and repair of motor starters
• Prepares job cards for every electrical maintenance and repairs carried out.
• Ensures that all Motor pumps and control panels in all pumping stations undergo service twice per month
• Carries out inspection and testing for new installed electrical equipment as well as making additional installation to the existing ones where necessary.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor
