JOB DETAILS:

AICAD is a Regional International Institution whose main mandate is poverty reduction through human resource capacity development. The Institute is jointly funded by the Governments of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. The position of Executive Director of AICAD which is advertised is occupied on rotational basis among Partner States of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Applications for the position of Executive Director are now invited from nationals of the Republic of Kenya and Uganda.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Institutions Governing Board (GB), the Executive Director will be responsible for providing efficient and effective leadership, coordination and control of the Institute's activities to meet its objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Should have a Doctorate in any of the science or applied science fields plus at least five years administrative experience at a University or a Research Institution, Should presently be in the grade of Associate Professor or above and with demonstrated ability to attract and manage funding and not more than 60 years of age at the time of application.
