JOB DETAILS:
Main Responsibilities
• Oversees engineering design, Installations & Commissioning of factory equipment
• Ensures factory realizes maintenance full potential and areas of improvement are identified and addressed effectively to achieve throughput at highest standards;
• Develops, implements and maintains preventative and reactive maintenance plans ensuring highest quality of end product
• Supervises maintenance of equipment and other estate property by observing world class practices and/or manufacturers’ recommendations;
• Ensures proper supply of power for factory and other allied areas;
• Designs and implements cost reduction production methods and identification of operation business improvements;
• Prepare plan and budget for maintenance and capital projects activities and ensures maintenance and capital projects activities are managed within budged and cost optimized
• Ensures occupational health and safety standards and food safety standards across the factory are observed and to see to it that the workers abide by the SHEQ rules associated with the factory;

Academic qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, agriculture engineering, chemical processing engineering or equivalent qualifications and must be registered with professional body.

Work experience
• Candidate shall have at least two (2) years’ experience in Tea processing industry or related industries.
