JOB DETAILS:
TPC Ltd is one of the fast growing sugar producing companies in Tanzania. The company is situated at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, 22kma south of Moshi Municipality.

POST: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (1 Post) ‘

• Reports to: Senior Financial Accountant
  
• Core Job Description: Responsible for handling of all Tax Matters, Accountable for making aura that TPC is Tax Compliant.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare Tex payment Voucher.
  
• Prepare and file Tax Returns with TRA.
  
• Ensure monthly GL reconciliations for all tax related are done and up to date.
  
• Prepare and dispatch Withholding Tax Certificates to suppliers.
  
• Regular communication with TRA and Tax Consultants as and when needed.
  
• Assisting Tax Auditors during Tex Audits.
  
• Be on top of changes in Tax Laws/Regulations.
  
• Maintain and keep records of company Tax Assets and Liabilities as well as register of all outstanding tax matters.
  
• Attending and responding to TRA Tax information requests and queries.
  
• Assisting Procurement Team In their activities so that Customs and Clearing Charges are correct and paid as per legislation.
  
• Preparing Annual Tax calculation for Year end and Budget purposes as well as annual return.

Personal Specifications

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy or Taxation.
  
• Experience in Accounting or Taxation for as less as two years would be an advantage.
