VACANCY: GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNT (GLA)
Wananchi Group Tanzania (SimbaNET & WCT) a Regional Company which provides Internet, Data, Broadcasting and Multmedia Communication Solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced, professional General Ledger Accountant (GLA) who is highly competent, self-motivated, with a passion for adding value and professional for both entities. He/She will be reporting to Country Finance Manager.

KEY ROLES
1.General Ledger Maintenance
2.Month-End and Year-End
3.Financial Reporting Function.
4.Account Reconciliation and Analysis
5.Compliance and Audit Support
6.Internal Controls
7.Cross-Department Collaboration

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on general
• ledger or financial reporting.
• Certification: CPA T, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle) and
• MS Excel.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Tanzanian financial regulations and International
• Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work
• independently as well as in a team environment.
