Aviagen East Africa Limited (AEAL) is looking for a manager for a brooding factory to oversee the operations of its subsidiary factory near the Mount Kilimanjaro National Park in Tanzania, a manager who will be working under the General Manager. This position will have full operational responsibilities ranging from planning, organizing and supervising the day-to-day operations of hatching and dissemination of one-day-old chicks to meet customer expectations and accepted quality standards within a safe living environment.

Among the main responsibilities are:
• Directing and coordinating hatching activities such as hatching, planning, vaccination of chicks, transporting chicks and handling of equipment.
• Develop and implement operational planning policies to ensure achieving goals and running the company's operations for profit • Provide training, evaluation and supervision of chick breeders
• Maintain / maintain and interpret chick breeding records on performance biological, cost and biological security.
• Schedule a breeding schedule for various chicks based on such factors as customer orders, and chick delivery equipment
• Prepare all reports related to safety and production compliance.
• Ensure that Aviagen's mission, vision and principles are applied and adhered to in the area of work.
